National Best Friends Day

If this quote by Oprah Winfrey doesn’t describe my best friend Hailey to a tee, then I don’t know what does.  You talk about two people, two friends, two best friends, two sisters who have literally been through it all.  That’s my bestie Hailey and I.  Whether I’m up or down, she’s got my front, my back, my left and my right!  Most would call it lucky, but I know that I am blessed beyond measure to have her in my life.

When I look back on all of the amazing, fun, exciting moments of my life over the last 15 years, I can’t think of a single one without her in it.  Even in the moments that were the darkest most ugly times of my life that I want nothing more than to forget, no matter how bad, she was always there.

My best friend is pretty much the shit, mainly just because she’s just that awesome, but also because she possesses all of these things:

nonjudgmental | honest | trustworthy| supportive | loving | genuine | accepting | respectful | forgiving | dependable | thoughtful | funny | attentive…..and most importantly, she love me just as much as I love her!

If you are blessed enough to have someone you call your “best friend,”  I sure hope they are all of the things I listed above!
